The bag’s internal layers and outer shell are described as fire-resistant. They may help slow the spread of heat and flames, but the bag cannot guarantee containment of a battery failure. Follow the battery and charger manufacturer’s instructions, use the correct charger, and do not charge unattended.

The bag uses a multi-layer construction with an outer liquid silicone-coated fibreglass shell, intermediate fire-resistant fibreglass cloth layers, and an inner aluminium foil thermal-reflective lining. These materials are intended to help resist heat and reflect radiant heat; they do not guarantee containment. Use the bag as an additional precaution alongside safe charging practices.
